Putt & Play Mini golf competitions, tournaments & leagues
We are hosting a mini golf competition at Barilla Putt & Play mini golf course. The first Social Mini Golf League will kick off in February 2011.
We are inviting social clubs, sporting clubs, companies and any interested groups of friends or colleagues to team up and enter our night time mini golf competitions.
The Putt & Play League Format
The Mini Golf League has the following by-laws:
- The league will be a ten (10) team competition, over ten (10) weeks, with a minimum of four (4) players per team each week.
- Competition will commence at 6.30pm on the designated dates of play.
- Teams may register up to six (6) players.
- To qualify for finals a player must have played a minimum four (4) qualifying games.
- Teams may interchange players from week to week.
- The initial league will play nine (9) qualifying games. Each team will play the other competing teams once in the preliminary competition.
- The aggregate score of the four (4) players will decide the winner. Winning teams will receive four (4) points for a win.
- The final four (4) teams with the highest aggregate totals for the nine (9) preliminary rounds will contest the finals.
- The 1st team will play the 4th team and the 2nd team will play 3rd team and the winners of those semi-finals will contest the Grand Final.
- The cost to enter a team of four (4) will be $480.00 ($120.00 per player) which will include the following:
- entry to all competition games including finals
- unlimited practice games
- supply of equipment (putter and balls)
- grand final function (food and drink provided)
- trophies for 1st & 2nd placed teams
- Players other than those registered in the initial four player team will pay $16.00 on the night for each game played.
- There will be a meeting prior to the Mini Golf League commencement (TBA) with all teams to be represented by at least one (1) participant. Rules for the competition will be outlined and described in detail. The draw for each team for the preliminary rounds will be carried out at this meeting.
The Barilla Putt & Play Mini Golf League will give participants a competitive evening out that is a lot of fun!
Each team participant will also be eligible for the Singles Championship, which will begin after completion of the Team Championship.
This competition will be conducted with integrity and a referee will be on hand nightly to answer and adjudicate on any questions, queries or disputes. Their decision is binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
